60 PRODUCTS CamScan500 The CamScan 500 system consists of the stand and a cabinet in which the Rollscan, computer, printer etc are placed. The CamScan 500 stand is semi-automated, requiring manual loading and unloading of the camshaft. The stand is programmable with servo-driven camshaft rotation and linear movements of the sensor. Sensor lifting is pneumatically controlled. The stand has one sensor for Barkhausen Effect testing. The stand is also equipped for eash and regular sensor cleaning. Changeable supports help loading and unloading of the shafts. The camshaft and sensor movements as well as the measurement modes and parameters are controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) which is operated with the help of the movable control panel in front of the stand. For operating the system, the operator chooses the type of shaft and desired inspection routine preprogrammed to the PLC. The Barkhausen signal is monitored and measurement results are handled by the ViewScan with CamScan support.
