All rights reserved. ©2003 unit and is driven by a hydraulic pressure unit. The mold transportation unit is driven by the hydraulic pressure unit and can move fore-and-aft. The platform can be lifted up during the transportation. The maximum carrying capacity is up to 60 tons. When molten metal is ready the mid-dividing board will seal up the pressure exerting system. The riser tube is then inserted into molten metal. The carrying platform of the mold transportation unit then moves up to its maximum height and the whole transportation unit moves on to the pressure-exerting unit with the gating mouth fitted to the rising tube so that the molten alloy will be pushed into the mold. 2.2 Electric and pneumatic control system The electric and pneumatic control systems contain an electric control unit and a pneumatic adjustment unit, as shown in Fig. 2. All actions of CGCE are controlled by the electric control unit which instructs the pneumatic adjustment unit to perform the filling process.
