WHO'S WHO OF METALS -- ANNUAL 2007/8 85 ADVERTISING PROMOTION CYBERPLAN CyberPlan for Foundry is a performing and optimized Technological System, developed from the consolidation of the experience of IMF's people and Cybertec specialists, which allows to Plan, Program and Schedule all foundry activities directly connected to the production lines. It also permits planning in advance your plant optimum performance according to the market mix, i.e. Throughput time, Saturation, Service level, use of resources. It is a complete solution with which to simulate the effects of decisions before they are implemented so as to be able to verify and calculate the maximum performance obtainable from the plant. With this system it is possible to immediately react to daily unexpected events through real time simulations, in order to maintain a high service level. With a measurement system in a graphic format (service level, orders produced or delayed, throughput for the period either total or per plant, etc.) it is possible to keep an eye on the quality of your production and to compare it to set standards. CyberPlan can be completely integrated with a simple and performing integration. Standard integrations have already been contemplated for primary Erp systems such as SAP, ORACLE, BAAN, JDE, AXAPTA, etc. to exchange both master and dynamic data. PLANTVISION2 This IMF developed programme enables the overall productive process and individual machines, to be precisely controlled. An easily used man/machine interface, with keyboard and screen, enables the working of the whole plant to be reviewed, and process variables to be input/monitored. Individual machines can be performance checked directly, and their production parameters adjusted. This management system gives a high degree of automation, speeds the production processes and minimises faults. The parameters database which also holds all the historical production data, enables event analysis and data comparisons to be carried out, as an aid to production effectiveness.
