Enhancements to the silicon drift sensor in the new UltraDry detector make excellent low energy detection performance possible. The resulting clear peak separations in the low energy region allow for easier interpretation of spectra in the analysis. Connecting Rod Stand The Connecting Rod Stand is designated to measure ID surfaces for heat treat defects and grinding damage of the connecting rod front and rear assemblies. The connecting rod is manually loaded on the stand bed and the bed rotated manually around a sensor for 260 degress of coverage. The sensor is connected to a Rollscan central unit when the test information is deisplayed and outputted for the operator's use. The system provides the user with a ready configured, tested and verified Function Package Force Control Machining for different robot-machining applications. In addition a ready to produce Flex Finishing Cell concept was developed. RobotWare Machining FC contains two advanced software features. The first, FC Pressure lets robots grind, polish or buff castings while maintaining a constant pressure between the tool and the work surface. The second software feature, FC SpeedChange enables a robot to debur or deflash part line and surfaces of castings at a controlled speed, slowing down when encountering excessive burr.
